Terms of Use on SeedLiving

13 simple rules. Before using the website or the services offered please read the terms of use.

  1. Choose a password that is unique to you, keep it secure and do not share it with others. You are responsible for actions resulting from your failure to keep your password confidential.
  2. You must have a valid email address in order to register on SeedLiving and you are responsible for keeping your account information up-to- date. SeedLiving reserves the right to cancel inactive accounts or refuse service to suspended users.
  3. You may not transfer your SeedLiving account or ID to another party.
  4. SeedLiving’s fees are subject to change. You are responsible for paying fees associated with using this Site.
  5. SeedLiving is a forum to allow registered and validated users to offer, sell, swap, open-pollinated, untreated seeds and homegrown natural products. SeedLiving is not responsible for content or actions of users.
  6. SeedLiving encourages users to leave feedback on the comments section. Any language which is deemed offensive or inappropriate by SeedLiving shall be removed without notice.
  7. To register as a SeedLiving user you must be 18 years and older. You are responisible for your conduct at all times. Site users under the age of 18 must do so under the guidance of a parent or legal guardian over 18 years of age.
  8. You agree to abide and comply with all local laws and regulations concerning the use of the site and the buying, selling and swapping of items. When agreeing to cross boundary trade you also agree to the risks and liablity.
  9. All sales, swaps and purchases are binding. All refunds should be negotiated with the seller. SeedLiving encourages buyers and sellers to resolve disputes between themselves. For the benefit of all users, SeedLiving may try to assist users resolve disputes. SeedLiving recommends that all sellers post a refund policy on their profile page. If you are paying with Paypal and you have a dispute, you may also refer to their Claim Resolution Process.
  10. List your prices accurately. Keep your items in stock up-to-date.
  11. SeedLiving does not claim ownership of the content on your listings. You are granting SeedLiving a worldwide irrevocable license to use the content you supply for the purposes of this Site.
  12. SeedLiving will not share your account information with any third party.
  13. News or suggestions provided to SeedLiving via email will be considered non-confidential. By doing so you grant SeedLiving a worldwide irrevocable license to use this information.

Acceptable Use Policy

As part of the Terms of Use, SeedLiving requires all users to adhere to our Acceptable Use Policy.

You are independently responsible for complying with all applicable laws in all of your actions related to your use of SeedLiving’s services, regardless of the purpose of the use. In addition, you must adhere to the terms of this Acceptable Use Policy.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use the SeedLiving service for activities that:

  1. violate any law, statute, ordinance or regulation
  2. relate to sales of (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, (c) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (d) items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime, (e) items that are considered obscene, (f) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (g) certain sexually oriented materials or services, or (h) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (i) ,certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law
  3. relate to transactions that (a) show the personal information of third parties in violation of applicable law, (b) support pyramid or ponzi schemes, matrix programs, other “get rich quick” schemes or certain multi-level marketing programs, (c) are associated with purchases of real property, annuities or lottery contracts, lay-away systems, off-shore banking or transactions to finance or refinance debts funded by a credit card, (d) are for the sale of certain items before the seller has control or possession of the item, (e) are by payment processors to collect payments on behalf of merchants, (f), are associated with the following Money Service Business activities: the sale of traveler’s checks or money orders, currency exchanges or check cashing,or (g) provide certain credit repair or debt settlement services
  4. involve the sales of products or services identified by government agencies to have a high likelihood of being fraudulent
  5. violate applicable laws or industry regulations regarding the sale of (a) tobacco products, or (b) prescription drugs and devices
  6. involve gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize, including, but not limited to casino games, sports betting, horse or greyhound racing, lottery tickets, other ventures that facilitate gambling, games of skill (whether or not it is legally defined as a lottery) and sweepstakes.
